“在周末”是AT还是ON the weekend?
其实，两种说法都可以使用，取决于你说英语时在哪。
· AT the weekend / AT weekends
常用在英式英语中
· ON the weekend / ON weekends
常用在美式英语中
注意：习惯上，我们一般不说in the weekend或in weekends。
例：
What do you usually do at he weekend?——British English
你周末一般做什么呀？（英式英语）
I binge-watched the whole series of Skate Into Love on the weekend.——American English
我周末追完了一整部《冰糖炖雪梨》。（美式英语）
at/on the weekend既可以表示某个特定的周末，也可以表示多个周末；但如果weekend用了复数，即at/on weekends，则指多个周末。
例：
We usually do our shopping at/on weekends.
我们通常利用周末采购物品。

· the previous weekend （某个时间）之前的周末
例：
The talks had been scheduled for the previous weekend, but was postponed to that weekend due to the weather.
这次谈判本来安排在那周末之前的周末，但是由于天气问题，才被推到那个周末了。
· the following/coming weekend （某个时间）接下来的周末
例：
The intention was to complete the work the following weekend after that.
原计划是那之后接下来的周末完成这项工作的。
