北京时间9月6日，巴黎残奥会结束第八个比赛日，中国残奥代表团单个比赛日收获12金9银10铜，目前以74金55银37铜继续排在奖牌榜首位。
其中在游泳男女混合4x50米混合泳接力20分决赛中，中国队以2分24秒83的成绩夺得金牌并打破世界纪录，这是夏季残奥会中国代表团斩获的第600金。
中国代表团自1984年首次参加残奥会以来，在本届巴黎残奥会之前已经斩获了535枚金牌。自2004年雅典残奥会以来，中国代表团已经在过去5届残奥会获得奖牌榜和金牌榜榜首。
