据《重庆日报》报道，近日，重庆市委副书记、市长、市委科技委员会主任胡衡华主持召开市委科技委第一次会议。
上述报道显示，重庆市委副书记、市长胡衡华，已经兼任重庆市委科技委员会主任一职。

According to a recent report by the Chongqing Daily, Hu Henghua, Deputy Secretary of the Chongqing Municipal Party Committee, Mayor of Chongqing, and Director of the Chongqing Municipal Science and Technology Committee, presided over the committee's first meeting.
The report confirms that Hu Henghua has taken on the additional role of Director of the Chongqing Municipal Science and Technology Committee while serving as Deputy Party Secretary and Mayor of the city.
Hu Henghua, male, of Han ethnicity, was born in June 1963. He hails from Hengnan County, Hengyang City, Hunan Province. Hu is a graduate of Hunan University, which is part of China's prestigious “985” and “211” education projects. He holds a Master's degree in Business Administration and is a senior engineer.
Hu began his professional career in July 1983 and joined the Communist Party of China in June 1985. He is currently a member of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Deputy Party Secretary of Chongqing, Mayor and Party Secretary of the Chongqing Municipal Government, Honorary President of the Chongqing Red Cross Society, and Director of the Chongqing Municipal Science and Technology Committee.
