钻戒当毕业礼物，还是两颗，网友：这所高校太“壕”了！

毕业时收到学校送的钻戒，是种什么样的体验？

又是一年毕业季到来，北京科技大学的新材料技术研究院碳基材料与功能薄膜研究室2024届的每一位毕业生都收到了一份特别的毕业礼物——钻石戒指。

As graduation season arrives, each member of the Class of 2024 from the Carbon-Based Materials and Functional Films Laboratory at the Institute for Advanced Materials and Technology (IAMT), University of Science and Technology Beijing (USTB), was presented with a unique graduation gift—a diamond ring.

白金戒圈上镶有两颗钻石，黑钻0.5克拉，白钻0.5克拉。这些钻石是由研究室团队自主研发的，背后是李成明团队30年如一日的科研攻关。

多年来，团队一直瞄准金刚石领域发展前沿，率先在国内拓展金刚石多晶和单晶电子学的研究，使金刚石膜热学应用达到国际领先水平，推动了人工培育金刚石自支撑膜的工业化应用。

The laboratory's primary research focuses on diamond and related materials, as well as the corresponding technologies. Their groundbreaking research on the thermal applications of diamond film has reached a global advanced level, further advancing the industrial utilization of the chemical vapor deposition(CVD) free-standing diamond films.

这些金刚石自支撑膜，广泛应用于“北斗”卫星系列、“长征七号”系列等尖端宇宙探索之中。

CVD free-standing diamond films have found extensive applications in cutting-edge scientific projects such as the Beidou Navigation Satellite System and the Long March-7 carrier rocket.

这已经是李成明团队连续第6年为毕业生送出“钻石”礼物。消息一出，网友们纷纷为科研团队点赞：“实名羡慕！”“毕业25年的老校友也想要！”“祝毕业生人生如钻石般璀璨！”

团队首席教授李成明说：“希望每位毕业生都能像钻石一样，承受住未来的压力，一直坚强刚毅、璀璨夺目！”

"I envision each graduate to be like a diamond, resilient to pressures, steadfast, and radiantly brilliant," said Professor Li Chengming, the team leader.
