尽管笔试第一，虐猫考生被南大、兰大相继拒绝。他参加的考试是研究生考试，我找了几份外刊，其中提到了多个「考研」相关表达，咱们一网打尽。
1️⃣ 「考研」相关表达
1）deny sb admission
四级 + 考研词汇
admission 除了表示「承认」外，还常用来表示「准许加入」组织、学校等。所以「拒录」可用 deny sb admission 来表达。
2）turn down sb
除了「调低音量」，它还表示 「拒绝」某人或建议、要求等。比如，turn down your invitation「拒绝邀请」。所以「拒录某人」还能用 turn down sb。或者，你还可用 reject, turn away 等。请看《经济学人》例句。
When they list, it is because the founders need to cash out or (as with the latest rash of tech IPOs) when the money on offer in the public markets is simply too good to turn down.
这些公司之所以上市是因为创始人需要套现，或者（如最近扎堆的科技公司）公开市场上提供的价码实在太好，无法拒绝。
3）the preliminary test
四级 + 考研词汇
我们之前学过 preliminary「预备性的；初步的」。那论文的「初稿」你是不是会说啦？ a preliminary draft。「初试」是笔试，所以英文可写成 the preliminary written test，或者干脆去掉 written，写成 the preliminary examination。
4）re-examination
「复试」是第二场考试，所以常用 re-examination 来表达。
2️⃣ down the line
