Designing a building that unfolds around a central courtyard creates a spatial experience that is both open and intimate. 在“浥尘客舍”的设计中，光的控制同样被放到一个特别重要的位置上。空间的设置除了考虑使用、景观，更加入了光的考量，昼夜晨昏，阴晴雨雪，每一刻都有不同的光的变化。空间的转折迂回，起承转合，每一处都会有不期而遇的光影。
