A local court has refuted online claims that luxury brand Louis Vuitton (LV) sued a Xiamen real estate developer over decorative floral patterns on a residential complex, saying the case instead concerns the alleged sale of counterfeit products.
Recent media reports claimed that LV had sued a real estate developer in Xiamen and its property management company over the alleged use of a four-petal floral motif resembling the brand's monogram in the complex's public areas, alleging trademark infringement.

对此， 据北京日报报道， LV内部知情人士透露，本案并非因楼盘公共区域装饰纹样与路易威登商标近似而提起诉讼，也并非针对建筑装饰或传统纹样本身，而是相关场所内存在涉嫌销售假冒路易威登商品的行为。
根据案件具体情况，权利人依法主张相关经营主体及物业管理方应承担相应的管理责任和法律责任。该人士表示，本案的核心争议是涉嫌销售假冒商品及相关主体的管理责任，而非楼盘装饰图案，更不存在针对中国传统纹样提起诉讼的情况。
However, a source familiar with the matter told Beijing Daily that the lawsuit was not related to decorative patterns on the building's exterior or any architectural features. Instead, it was filed over the suspected sale of products bearing counterfeit LV trademarks at a store within the complex. The company sought to hold both the store operator and the property management company accountable for their respective roles.

针对近日网络流传的（2026）闽0206民初8217号案件相关信息，网传案情“路易威登公司起诉地产开发商，因楼盘外立面四叶类雕花装饰商标侵权”不属实，我院现就有关情况通报如下：
经核实，该案系路易威登公司起诉某小区沿街服装店经营者彭某销售侵犯其注册商标的服装，其余被告系因怠于履行管理职责被诉承担相应责任，案件与网传楼盘外立面雕花装饰没有关联。目前该案尚未开庭。案件相关信息请以我院官方发布为准。

On Sunday, the Huli District People's Court in Xiamen, Fujian province, issued a statement clarifying that online claims linking the lawsuit to carved floral patterns on the building's exterior were false.
According to the court, the case involves LV suing a clothing store operator surnamed Peng for allegedly selling garments bearing counterfeit LV trademarks. The other defendants, including the property management company, are accused of failing to fulfill their supervisory obligations. The court stressed that the case has no connection to the building's exterior decorations. It added that the case has yet to be heard and urged the public to rely on information officially released by the court.
公开数据显示，近五年，LV在中国发起的商标维权诉讼高达1691起，仅2026年上半年就新增56起。人民法院公告网显示，北京知识产权法院于7月16日公开审理一起涉及路易威登的商标行政纠纷案。案号为（2026）京73行初4727号，原告为路易威登马利蒂，被告为国家知识产权局（）。路易威登马利蒂也是此前起诉茉莉奶白商标侵权案的原告。
