近日，安徽宣城站的一只流浪狗“黄站长”被当地出租车司机救助的故事在网上刷屏，感动了无数人。
A stray dog known as "station chief Huang" in Xuancheng, Anhui province, has captured hearts across China after local taxi drivers and residents raised money to save its life following a serious traffic accident.
不少人也牵挂它的后续治疗，4月30日，据宣城发布消息，“黄站长”目前恢复得不错，已经能站起来了，剩下的就是静养至完全康复。
According to local authorities, "station chief Huang" is recovering well and has already been able to stand, with rest and rehabilitation now the focus until a full recovery is made.
同时，“宣城文旅”发布消息：“黄站长”不幸受伤，幸得宣城一群有爱的出租车司机和社会爱心人士温暖相助，让爱双向奔赴。五一假期，安徽宣城推出针对出租车司机和乘坐出租车游客的专属优惠活动。
In response, Xuancheng's tourism authority praised the rescue effort as "a two-way journey of love" and launched special promotions during the May Day holiday for taxi drivers and tourists using taxi services, in tribute to the kindness shown by local residents.
据媒体此前报道，4月18日，宣城高铁站的流浪狗“黄站长”突然消失。
经常投喂它的出租车司机和爱心人士几经寻找，终于在绿化带中找到了奄奄一息的“黄站长”。“黄站长”不幸遭遇车祸，导致多处骨折。
The dog went missing on April 18, prompting concern among taxi drivers and local residents who regularly fed it. After a search, they found it badly injured in a roadside greenbelt after being hit by a vehicle.
有司机师傅抱着它，辗转了好几家宠物医院。医生说，腿骨折了，需要尽快手术，费用大约一万元。对于收入不算宽裕的出租车司机来说，这不是一笔小数目。大伙先安排“黄站长”在医院吊水，然后开始想办法。
Suffering multiple fractures, "station chief Huang" was taken to several pet clinics before veterinarians said urgent surgery was needed, initially estimated to cost about 10,000 yuan — a heavy burden for the taxi drivers determined to help.
募捐悄然发起了，你二十，我五十，大家纷纷解囊。其中一位师傅，默默捐了1000元，加上肇事司机通过保险赔付的2000元，手术费终于有了着落。截至目前，已有56人捐助，总额4875元。
The drivers then quietly organized a fundraiser, with donations of all sizes coming in from 56 people, along with 2,000 yuan paid through the at-fault driver's insurance.
纸条上没有捐款人的姓名，只有一串串熟悉的出租车牌号码，还有几处标注着“爱心人士”的字样。
一家宠物医院得知司机们凑钱救小狗的事迹后，最终，小狗的手术费仅花了4000元。
Moved by the rescue effort, a local pet hospital reduced the surgery fee to 4,000 yuan, making treatment possible.
如今，“黄站长”的康复指日可待，但它的未来成了司机师傅们心中牵挂的大事。有爱心人士提出领养，司机们满心不舍。
“为了‘黄站长’的后半生，领养确实是不错的选择。”司机章师傅说，“但领养的人，必须是我们知根知底的，还要签订协议，保证爱护它、善待它！”
The dog's future, however, remains a concern for the drivers who saved it. While adoption offers have come in, they hope any future owner will be someone they trust and will provide a loving home.
不少网友表示，已将这个温暖的城市加入旅游名单。
The heartwarming rescue has resonated widely online, with some social media users saying they have added Xuancheng to their travel list because of the kindness shown by its people.
