Intangible Cultural Heritage lacquer, also known as natural lacquer, raw lacquer, or earth lacquer, is a coating material processed from sap harvested by hand from lacquer trees. The main source of lacquer resin comes from the primitive forests in provinces such as Sichuan, Shaanxi, Henan, and Shanxi, where the lacquer tree species are found. Lacquer is hailed as the "King of Coatings" due to its deep, restrained, rich, and elegant characteristics, which are widely adored.
漆器是中国的国之重器，起源于中国，有着8000多年的历史，被誉为国漆。雕漆隐花，顾名思义就是要在漆上雕刻，同时将填彩的花纹装饰好以后再用透明漆填平，最后打磨抛光，用手触摸，漆面光滑如水，然而纹饰却清晰异常，呈现出一种含蓄之美。
