BISFF影评人工作坊计划
在当今电影与影视行业的波澜中，影评写作者的角色逐渐被淹没，而他们曾是导演与观众之间的灵魂桥梁。在动荡的当代电影环境中，影迷的热忱被日益消耗，付出却未被珍视。行业中的对立愈加鲜明，纵使电影节遍地，资助接连不断，依旧难以挽回电影媒介逐渐沉寂的命运。此外，新闻媒体资金短缺，影评与宣传之间的边界逐渐模糊。在这种规则日益冷酷的环境中，写作的敏锐与职业的伦理似乎不再被容纳，独立影评人几乎无法立足。
在此次工作坊中，您不会被迫产出任何作品，我们的目标是在电影节期间建立一个充满智慧与激情的社群，倾听您对电影的独到见解，探索在这个飞速变迁的媒介语境中，是什么让您仍然怀揣对电影的执念与敬仰!我们将分享专业的影评写作技巧，传授影评实践的精髓，并提供在合作平台Directube的微信页面上发表您创作的机会。工作坊内容由三部分构成:

孔敏(Maja Korbecka):影评人、研究员，曾为Senses of Cinema撰稿，2020年柏林影展天才训练营，2023年洛迦诺影评学院成员，费比西影评人协会及德国影评人协会会员，曾在香港国际电影节，韩国 DMZ电影节担任影评人奖评委。现于柏林自由大学（Freie Universität Berlin)东亚研究院攻读博士学位。

In the contemporary cinema and film industry there is disregard for film writers who in the history of the development of cinema were key mediators between the filmmakers and the audiences. There is growing animosity between different stakeholders in the film industry because the environment became increasingly precarious and unsustainable with cinephilia being exploited for free labour. It leads to the implosion of cinema, lack of interest in the medium regardless of multiple film festivals and production grants. Press and news media on the other hand are facing lack of sufficient funds to pay the writers which leads to breaking the boundary between film writing and publicity. It is nearly impossible to make a living as an independent journalist at times when sensibility and ethics do not fit into the demands of the industry.
In the course of the workshop you are not being forced to produce anything, our main goal is to build a community during the festival days, hear what you think about cinema, what makes you still feel for it in this rapidly changing mediascape. The workshop aims at sharing professional knowledge, the basis of film writing practice and the opportunity to have your pieces of film writing published on our partner Wechat page directube. The workshop consists of three elements: lecture sessions, daily meetings to discuss the films programmed at the BISFF and the coverage of the festival, the jury of 5 lecture sessions:
1) film-writing ethics and notes on the profession of the film writer
2) basis of film analysis
3) basis of interviews and pitching
4) basis of industry observation
5) basis of film curation
The workshop will be conducted by Maja Korbecka: film critic and researcher, contributor to Senses of Cinema, Berlinale Talents Press 2020 and Locarno Critics Academy 2023 alumna. Member of FIPRESCI(International Federation of Film Critics) and the German Film Critics Association, and has served as a jury member for the Critics' Prize at the Hong Kong International Film Festival and the DMZ International Documentary Film Festival in Korea.Currently pursuing a PhD in the Graduate School of East Asian Studies at the Freie Universität Berlin.
Qualification: write a text (200characters in Chinese or 200 words in English) or edit a video (1 minute) in which you engage with a short film, a trend in audiovisual media, a leitmotif that runs throughout the recent cinema 5 people, fluent in written and spoken Chinese and English, 18-35 years old, no educational or professional requirements, availability in the afternoons from 23.11. till 01.12.
