周五，追光动画“新神榜”系列的第二部《新神榜：杨戬》（New Gods: Yang Jian）上映。
On Friday, Light Chaser's second installment of its blockbuster franchise New Gods, Yang Jian, was released nationwide.
凭借浸润魏晋风韵的天界建筑、令人惊艳的《洛神赋》飞天舞，如水墨画般的太极图内斗，这部展现天界视效奇观的大片(tentpole)。上映第一天，就迅速登顶全国票房排行榜，冲上微博热搜第一，也成为这个周末电影院里最热门的影片。
Opening to more than 33 percent of all China's silver screens, the epic has become the country's new box office champion this summer, and been listed in the trending topics on Sina Weibo, thanks to its visually stunning scenes ranging from heavenly architectures, Flying Apsaras-style dance, and a fight taking place in a brush painting scroll showcasing the tai chi symbol.
作为额上有神通眼的二郎神，杨戬在中国神话中可谓是家喻户晓的名人。从16世纪明代小说《西游记》到90年代末轰动一时的动画片《宝莲灯》，一千多年来，杨戬的故事一直在各种版本中被演绎。
With the iconic third "truth-seeing" eye on his forehead, Yang Jian — aka Erlang Shen — is a figure in Chinese mythology dating back over 1,000 years. Over the centuries, the powerful celestial being's story has been retold in many works, ranging from the 16th-century classic Journey to the West to the late-1990s award-winning animated blockbuster Lotus Lantern.
作为追光的第七部动画长片，也是“新神榜”系列的第二部，杨戬的形象虽然和以往国产动画片中大不相同，但却延续了追光中男主英雄角色的一贯风格：长身玉立、削肩细腰、脸孔清秀，带着点颓废，带着点浪荡不羁。
As the seventh feature-length movie produced by Light Chaser, Yang Jian — the protagonist — is rendered quite differently than most films and series in the past. Continuing the studio's aesthetics, the new hero is a handsome young man who's tall and slender, but a fall from grace after a tragic battle years ago makes him look haggard and withdrawn.
影片的故事，也是全新的，讲述商周之战结束的一千多年之后，人间辗转到了晋朝。曾威风凛凛的战神杨戬已落魄潦倒，额上的第三只眼睛也因受伤，而用布条蒙了起来。为了生计，他当起了一名赏银捕手。
The new movie begins more than 1,000 years after an epic war between the Shang and Zhou regimes. Fictionalizing a fantastic world where celestial beings and humankind co-exist, with the latter residing during China's Jin Dynasty (266-420) when the new story takes place, Yang is no longer a powerful warrior, but leads a rough life as a bounty hunter.
有一天，杨戬遇到容貌绝美的女子婉罗，请他去追捕一个少年，以寻回丢失的一件宝物，可杨戬却意外发现，这名少年竟是自己的亲外甥沉香，由此揭开一段扑朔迷离的尘封往事。
One day, he encounters a beautiful woman named Wanluo, who asks him to help her find a teenager to recover her lost treasure, a magical bowl. But the "mission" soon gets more complicated after Yang discovers the teenager is his nephew, Chenxiang, who aspires to steal a powerful lantern to rescue his trapped mother.
在国漫顶流圈里，追光是个独特的存在。从《小门神》到“白蛇”系列的《白蛇：缘起》、《白蛇2：青蛇劫起》，再到《新神榜：哪吒重生》，追光一直坚持以中国古代神话或民间传说为蓝本，以全新的方式讲述浸润于中国数千年传统文化中的故事。
The movie marks the latest effort of Light Chaser's years-long pursuit to employ advanced cinematic technology to retell Chinese myths and legends, exemplified by the studio's previous films, ranging from Little Door Gods to the White Snake franchise and New Gods series.
但令粉丝们惋惜的是，追光的作品大多画面精美绝伦，有些甚至堪称神来之笔，但情节铺展和角色弧度，却常常令不少人意难平。
《杨戬》也是如此。但在画面方面，确有不少惊艳之处，如在一处神阁里，“巫山神女”婉罗和一众仙女凌空飞跃，翩翩舞出《洛神赋》。还有杨戬等被玉鼎真人收入太极图中，太极图里的世界呈现出水墨画般的质感，人如在画中行走，打斗充满中国画的写意感。
影片中沉香刚刚登场时，是个略显阴骘的少年，为了找到宝莲灯劈山救母，有些不惜手段。后来与杨戬舅甥重逢，明白了当年母亲被压在华山下的真相，他也在杨戬的帮助下，终于重新见到母亲。因此，也有网友戏称，这部影片也可以说是，二郎神这个“二舅”，治好了沉香的精神内耗。
这些年来，从《西游记之大圣归来》到《哪吒之魔童降世》，国漫从传统文化中汲取营养，重塑属于中国人自己的英雄，已蔚然成崛起之势。这些优秀的国产动画片，也在近年来扬帆出海，为中国文化走出去做了不少贡献。随着中国电影技术的不断升级换代，相信国产动画未来可期。
Over the years, China's animated film industry has seen a remarkable rise thanks to smash hits such as Monkey King: Hero is Back and Ne Zha. Mostly inspired by Chinese culture and history, these acclaimed animated films recount heroes familiar to many Chinese, the films have also become a pivotal part of China's film industry's endeavor to launch in foreign markets. With the development of cinematic technology, most insiders believe the prospect of domestic animated films is inspiring.
