常年不联系的微信好友突然发消息，打开一看原来是拼单链接，你有过这样的经历吗？
拼单也叫“团购”，是近几年在中国发展出来的一种购物策略，英文可以说team buying，group buying，collective buying。
几个人（有时候是认识的朋友，有时候是网上遇到的陌生人）都想买某个商品，于是他们一起找这个商品的商家讨价还价，希望能享受折扣（agree to approach a vendor of a specific product in order to collectively bargain with the proprietor as a group in order to get discounts）。
维基百科上面，对拼单的介绍提到，这个叫法起源于中国：
Group buying, also known as collective buying, offers products and services at significantly reduced prices on the condition that a minimum number of buyers would make the purchase. Origins of group buying can be traced to China, where it is known as Tuán Gòu, or team buying. Group buying，也被称为collective buying，以大幅降低价格提供产品和服务，条件是只有达到最低购买人数后才可以购买。团购的起源可以追溯到中国，被称为团购，或团队购买。
In recent times, group buying websites such as Pinduoduo in China and Teamkaro in India have emerged in the online shopping business. 近年来，中国拼多多、印度卡若团等团购网站在网上购物领域崭露头角。
因为便宜就想买，所以不停刷手机，很多拼单行为伴随着某种不理智购物的因素。在英语中有个词形容这类人非常贴切：A vampire shopper吸血鬼购物者。
听起来虽然很吓人，但这个英语说法所描述的人在生活中其实并不少见。它通过传说在夜间活动的虚构生物 “vampires 吸血鬼” 来比喻喜欢在夜晚上网购物的人们。例句：
According to statistics, the average vampire shopper buys 20% more than the average daytime shopper. 据统计，夜晚网购人的购买量比白天网购者平均多 20%。
说到购物，那就不得不说说“购物车”的表达方式了。
网络上的购物车其实和商场的购物车在英文中的表达一样，可以用“shopping cart”或者“shopping trolley”来表达：
From there, when a customer wants to buy something, the merchant creates a shopping cart with those items on their computer. 这样，当顾客想要买什么东西时，商家就可以为这些产品创建一个虚拟购物车。
