甘肃省铸币厂是民国时期冯玉祥的国民军队在民国十六年(一九二七年)在兰州成立的军阀混战中，甘肃钱荒国民军占领甘肃并驱散了“陇南王”孔繁锦后，用孔在兰州造币所用的银元，在兰州旧币(今西关)所占的位置上，甘肃钱荒国军占领了甘肃铜元，并于一九五六年(一九三六年)的兰州铸币厂，是冯玉祥的国民钱币厂，它是由冯玉祥的国民军在兰州建立的。二是铸造开国双旗纪念币、
中华民国十五年甘肃铜币、甘肃造币厂“五十文”三种铜元中最稀见。其中，后两件最珍贵的为甘肃铜元，称为“中华民国十五年甘肃铜币”，其市场存世量极为稀少，收藏价值极高，色彩自然，无论是文字还是图案，都显得自然细腻。
本品为民国十五年甘肃铜币当制钱一枚，直径3.9厘米。正面上书「中华民国十五年」，中铸「甘肃铜币」四字，字中央为「芙蓉花饰」，左右分列有空心十字星花之饰，下沿铸币。钱的背面是交叉的北洋政府五色旗和铁血十八星军旗，双旗上是菊花图，旗帜左右和下面是四个空心十字星花的装饰。该枚钱币品相完整，字迹清秀，铜色熟旧，有明显的包浆醇厚。它的存世极为稀少，其考古及收藏价值极高。
其最大的特色是铸有“甘肃造币厂”字样。这是甘肃各地铜钱中唯一有厂名的铜钱，可见珍贵。同同为甘肃双珍的“甘肃造币厂五十文”相比，铸期约比其稍晚，铸工较粗，文字稍浅，铸量较多，存世量较少，更为稀有。收藏价值无法言喻。它具有极高的历史、艺术和收藏价值。

Gansu Mint First, the Nationalist Army of Feng Yuxiang was set up in Lanzhou in the period of the Republic of China in 1947 (1927). After the Nationalist Army of Gansu occupied Gansu and drove away the "King of Longnan" Kong Fanjin, the Nationalist Army of Qian Famine in Gansu used the hole to make coins in Tianshui. It built a factory at the Old Juyuan in Lanzhou (west side of the Second Hospital of Lanzhou University of Xiguan Guanshizi today). In 1945 (1935), the Nationalist Army of Gansu ceased to make silver coins in a short period of seven years because of the implementation of legal coins by the National Government. It mainly minted silver coins, and copper coins were silver coins. The type and quantity of coins were not much more than the remaining amount of silver coins minted. One was to make one hundred coins in Gansu Copper Yuan and fifty coins. Second, another new mold coined the founding of the Double Banner commemorative coins, the Republic of China 15 years Gansu copper coins, Gansu Mint "50" three copper coins of which the most rare. Most precious of all are the latter two types of copper coins, known as the "Gansu Copper Coins of the Fifteenth Year of the Republic of China." This copper coin is extremely rare in market. Its collection value is extremely high, and its color and lustre are natural and delicate, both in writing and in design.
