夏天来了，气温上升，在湿润的南方，如果不及时把一些食物放进冰箱冷藏或冷冻的话，就很容易发生变质，既影响环境卫生，也影响人的身体健康。

A lot of food will go off in Summer easily if you don't refrigerate them.
在夏天，如果不冷藏的话，很多食物很快就会变质。

I forgot to put the rice in the fridge yesterday, and it went off this morning.
我昨天忘了把米饭放冰箱了，今天早上就坏了。
This would keep the food from going bad.
这样做可以防止食品变质。

That's stinking.
这都臭了。（变质了，要扔了。）
It needs eating.
要吃掉了。（快变质了，快到保质期了。）
