深圳至美术馆将在5月15日迎来自开馆以来首个雕塑展“1:500——徐升个展”，展出艺术家徐升为展览全新创作的17件雕塑作品。这是是一场由作为雕塑家的徐升发起的建筑实验探索。此次徐升的新作区别于从前他任何一次展览，这是他首次将自己的雕塑理念真正阐发落实至建筑领域。17件作品包含3D打印、大理石、铸铜等不同材质，外观无限接近于某种新概念建筑模型，它们都可以扩展至超尺度的公共空间建筑，运用至物质实体空间里去。
Shenzhen Zhi Art Museum will hold the first sculpture exhibition on 15th. May "1:500-Xu Sheng Solo Exhibition" since the opening of the museum. It will display 17 new sculptures created by artist Xu Sheng for the exhibition. This is an architectural experimental exploration initiated by Xu Sheng as a sculptor. This time Xu Sheng's new works are different from any previous exhibitions of him. This is the first time that he has truly expounded and implemented his sculptural concept in the field of architecture. The 17 works contain 3D printing, marble, cast copper and other different materials. The appearance is infinitely close to a new concept architectural model. They can all be extended to super-scale public space buildings and used in physical physical spaces.

About Artist_Xu Sheng
徐升，新锐雕塑家，反观雕塑主编，Growth Garden一个连接设计和建筑的创作平台的创始人，并于诸多设计师、建筑家合作。徐升曾就读于中央美术学院、法国巴黎高等美术学院、日本京都市立美术学院，现生活工作于北京。作为中国新锐的雕塑家，徐升游走于世界各个角落，不断构建区域文化与全球文化的链接点，个人项目从美国蒙塔纳到日本京都，从德国柏林到西班牙塞维利亚。徐升曾受过很好的雕塑训练，擅长用物质性材料和空间之间关系不断拓展雕塑的边缘，使他的作品既有东方性的区域文化，又有差异性全球文化的映射，是从物理性空间到心理空间、概念空间的新方式，作品具有无限的新可能。
Xu Sheng, a new active sculptor, chief editor of Observing Sculpture, the founder of Growth Garden, a creative platform linking design and architecture, has worked with many designers and architects. Studied in China Central Academy of Fine Arts, Ecole nationale supérieure des Beaux-arts de Paris and Kyoto City University of Arts, currently he lives and works in Beijing. As a new active sculptor in China, Xu Sheng walks around the world, constantly building links between regional culture and global culture. His personal projects range from Montana, USA to Kyoto, Japan, from Berlin, Germany to Seville, Spain. Having received good sculpture training, Xu excels at expanding the border of sculpture by using physical materials and spatial relationships, which made his works reflections of both regional eastern culture and the differentiated global culture. As a new way shifted from the physical space to the mental and conceptual space, his works have unlimited new possibilities.
