我对大家说：“那个人不太合适 我给Pass了！”，
结果好几个人惊讶，啊？不合适你让他过了？
其实是因为“pass”既可以表示通过也可以表达否定！！
pass 到底要怎么用？
pass 既是一个及物动词，也是一个不及物动词。
- pass the exam 通过考试
- pass the interview 通过面试
做及物动词的时候，pass 的意思是通过，比如pass the gate, pass the checkpoint，pass the level, 就是我们玩游戏时说的＂过关了＂的意思
所以 pass something 就是说通过了。通过考试就是 pass the exam， pass the interview 就是通过面试。
pass on something 放弃机会；不参加
to refuse an opportunity or decide not to take part in something
pass on the party 不去聚会了
pass on his proposal 拒绝他的提议；他的提议没通过
pass做不及物动词的时候，是不接受不想要的意思，如果 pass 和 something 中间有介词 on，我们就要理解为没通过。
pass on the party 就是不去聚会了，pass on his proposal就表示他的提议没有被通过。
所以：
- pass something 通过
- pass on something 不通过；不接受

（不出牌或比赛里答不出问题时说的话）除了各类考试，pass 也常常出现在一些棋牌游戏里，意思就是过牌吧。
和老外一起斗地主的时候，如果你出了牌后，对方回答 pass，就是说他要不起你的牌，你可以直接过牌了。
在答题比赛里，也是一样的，你答不出来题就可以说 pass，意思就是我不知道答案，这道题直接跳过吧。
