这样翻译就变成Chinglish(中式英语)了

busybody ≠ 大忙人

英文释义:a person who is too interested in what other people are doing

After all I've done for him, I end up being called a busybody.

He's an interfering old busybody!

1、We are ... shy

I added up all the receipts, but we are $200 shy.

2. Third wheel

I don't want to be a third wheel.

3. Have a fit

Don't have a fit about it.

4. Wearing two hats

He is wearing two hats, being as the attorney for the company as well as the president of a charity organization.

Chinglish: I very like it.

English: I like it very much.

Chinglish: How to say in English?

English: How do you say this in English?

How to say

Chinglish: My English is poor.

English: I am not 100% fluent, but at least I am improving.

My English is not so good. / My English is pretty limited.

Chinglish: I want a cup of coffee.

English: I would like to have a cup of coffee.

如果是点餐或者买东西说我想要什么,可以说“I would like”或者“I'd like”,语气更委婉。

Chinglish: have a rest

English: have a break

Chinglish:I have no experience.

English:I am afraid I don’t know much about that.

I have no experience

I am not really an expert in this area.

Chinglish: His body is healthy.

English:He is in good health.

English: He’s healthy.

Chinglish: The price is too expensive/cheap.

English: The price is too high/ rather low.
