英语罐头

近段时间，不少朋友在关注疫情的同时，还会关注今年的奥斯卡电影，大家的关注点都在《寄生虫》获奖上面。罐头菌由于没看过这电影，所以心中毫无波澜。然而，罐头菌的关注点落在了今年的“最佳男主角”上。
今年的“最佳男主角”，由《小丑》的扮演者——华金·菲尼克斯（Joaquin Phoenix）获得。本来罐头菌就很喜欢《蝙蝠侠》《小丑》相关的电影，然而，听完华金·菲尼克斯在奥斯卡颁奖典礼上的演讲，更是尤为感动，这样精彩的演讲发言，确实不多见。
关于这个演讲，罐头菌拿出了一些我比较喜欢，以及一些能学习的段落。
I'm full of so much gratitude right now. And I do not feel elevated above any of my fellow nominees or anyone in this room because we share the same love, the love of film.

And this form of expression has given me the most extraordinary life. I don't know what I'd be without it.

虽然互联网时代给予了非常多人为自己发声的机会，但是真正有机会发声的人，还是那些处于社会上流的人。看到华金·菲尼克斯说这话时，罐头菌想起自己做自媒体的最初目的，也是为了让自己有更大的声音，让自己可以分享更加多知识，分享出更多值得传播的价值观。
And I think we fear the idea of personal change because we think that we have to sacrifice something, to give something up, but human beings, at our best, are so inventive and creative and ingenious.
我认为，我们害怕个人的变化是因为我们认为变化往往会带来牺牲与放弃，但其实，竭尽全力的人类，是多么的聪慧，多么的有创造力。
And I think that when we use love and compassion as our guiding principles, we can create, develop and implement systems of change that are beneficial to all sentient beings and to the environment.
当我们用爱与怜悯之心作为原则，一定能够创造，发展并且实现一系列的变化，并且让众生与自然环境有所受益。

Now, I have been, I have been a scoundrel in my life. I've been selfish. I've been cruel at times, hard to work with, and I'm grateful that so many of you in this room have given me a second chance.

And I think that's when we're at our best, when we support each other, not when we cancel each other out for past mistakes, but when we help each other to grow, when we educate each other, when we guide each other toward redemption. That is the best of humanity.
