没错，之所以叫白茶，是其茶树具有典型的白化特征。早春之时气温尚低，茶树的新芽呈现白色或者浅绿色。叶片展开之后，亦呈白色。大约一个月之后，白芽方随着温度上升，渐渐转绿。因为这样的特性，人们把这茶，称为“安吉白茶”。

In early spring, when the temperature is still low, the new buds of the tea tree appear white or light green. After the leaves unfold, they also appear white. 安吉白茶泡后，汤色清澈而又明亮，叶白隐翠。因为茶叶中氨基酸高于普通绿茶，所以安吉白茶特别的鲜甜爽口，没有苦涩之感。
