通往未来的路是什么样的？创意和创新在未来发展中又该扮演怎样的角色？为期两天的第三届联合国教科文组织创意城市北京峰会或许能给出答案。
以“创意激活城市·科技创造未来”为主题，9月17、18日，联合国教科文组织、教育部、北京市政府、中国联合国教科文组织全国委员会共同主办了第三届联合国教科文组织创意城市北京峰会。
此次峰会共举办了一场主论坛、三场分论坛，北京作为峰会主办城市，在打造具有全球影响力科技创新中心征程中，不断以创新创意为引领，为联合国2030年可持续发展议程贡献更多“北京智慧”。
9月21日，《中国日报国际版》刊发整版宣传报道，聚焦主论坛和分论坛，探讨创意和创新如何成为构建未来可持续和韧性城市的重要推动力量。
版面第一条稿件集中报道了峰会主论坛 ——创意与创新：通往未来城市之路的内容。
该论坛突出创意和创新在城市更可持续发展模式方面的所起的促进作用，关注如何激发创意和创新，特别是利用科技为大众创造更好的生活。北京作为教科文组织创意城市网络的核心愿景，创意是凝练和开发城市解决方案的最有力因素之一，从而将它们转化为机遇。
联合国教科文组织总干事奥德蕾·阿祖莱（UNESCO Director-General Audrey Azoulay）在致辞中说：
Cities are unique spaces for solidarity, cooperation, and innovation. They are where the future of our societies will be defined. As a UNESCO Creative City of Design, Beijing provides an exemplary combination of profound history and state-of-the-art technology.
城市是团结、合作和创新的特殊空间。城市的发展将决定我们未来社会的景象。作为联合国教科文组织的创意城市，北京是数千年悠久历史与尖端技术之间融合的典范。
北京市市长陈吉宁在论坛上致辞：
数字技术和创意设计为北京市的发展注入了活力，包括人工智能和大数据在内的最新技术是北京经济增长的关键驱动力。
Taking new technologies led by artificial intelligence and big data as the core driving force for reinvigorating economic growth, we will accelerate the integrated development of digital technologies and creative design.
陈市长鼓励更多的新商业模式和产品，并说道北京将会加强知识产权保护和利用，并创造一个更具活力的创新生态系统。
The mayor encouraged more new business modes and products. He said the city will enhance intellectual property protection and utilization and create a more dynamic innovation ecosystem.
第二条稿件是围绕分论坛——创意城市:打造全面可持续发展的地方路径。该论坛在探讨文化和创意如何与技术方法相结合，共同设计出更好的城市管理方法、模式和理念，从而更好地改善城市生活。
北京城市副中心城市设计综合方案总规划师吴志强在论坛上中说：
北京城市副中心的规划重点是城市与自然、历史与文化创新、社会生活与社区、绿色交通与基础设施、城市景观与艺术创新的和谐，配合北京副中心与京津河北地区的协调。
The planning of the sub-city center focuses on harmony in sectors incorporating city and nature, history and cultural innovation, social life and communities, green transportation and infrastructure, city landscape and art innovation, and the coordination of the sub-city center and Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
在中国处理人与自然关系的传统智慧的启发下，他们还将传统的优点与现代国际创新技术结合起来进行规划。
Inspired by traditional Chinese wisdom of dealing with the relationship between people and nature, they also put together traditional merits with the modern international innovative technologies in planning.
第三条稿件以分论坛——科技与创意：赋能城市治理以应对全球挑战为主题，探讨科技如何推动和刺激创新，通过培养人类社会与环境之间相互联系和共生的新城市发展理念，帮助城市实现高质量增长并改善市民生活。
论坛讲述了面对新冠肺炎疫情所引发的以封闭和限制社交距离为代表的各种限制措施，包括市长、地方政策制定者、文化机构、企业、民间社会和公众在内的城市参与者们都在探索利用新技术维持正常生活的新手段。
北京市科学技术委员会副主任刘晖在分论坛发言说道：
城市是科技的“试验场”和“孵化器”。城市有着超大量的人群和丰富的场景，科技是从城市中发展出来的，城市与科技的深度融合让城市变得更美好、更智能、更宜居。
Cities are “testing ground” and“incubator” of technologies. Thanks to the large population and rich scenarios, cities promote technology development. Deeply integrating technologies help cities become better, smarter and more livable.
去年6月份，北京启动应用场景建设，已发布三批应用场景项目，共计60项，项目总金额约196亿元。主要聚焦产业升级、城市管理、民生服务等重点领域。
In June 2019, Beijing launched the construction of application scenarios. It has released three batches of 60 projects with investment of 19.6 billion yuan, focusing on major areas such as industrial upgrading, urban management and livelihood services.
以人工智能、5G、区块链、北斗等领域底层技术迭代升级和示范应用为重点，在解决城市痛点难点问题、改善城市管理运营服务、培育新模式新业态等方面产生显著效果。
多国领导通过视频形式对此次北京峰会的主题给予高度评价并且发表自己的观点：
意大利罗马市市长维吉尼亚拉吉（Virginia Raggi）说：
The theme of this summit — Creativity empowers cities, technology creates the future — is of great interest and fascination. Creativity is the engine of our history, both individual andcollective.
峰会的主题“创意激活城市·科技创造未来”是一个令人感兴趣的话题。创造力是人类历史的引擎，无论是对个人还是集体。
土耳其伊斯坦布尔市政府秘书长卡恩阿肯凯格拉尔（Can Akin Caglar）说：
We can say that creativity and innovation are indispensable factors for urban management to build the sustainable cities of tomorrow.
我们可以确信创造力和创新是未来城市管理建设可持续城市不可或缺的因素。
芬兰赫尔辛基市市长简瓦基亚沃里（Jan Vapaavuori）说：
We believe that design has the power to change things. Instead of individual programs or projects, we aim to take design, digitalization and dialogue into co nsideration in everything we do.

I am a strong believer in international cooperation — and that is why I also believe networks like UNESCO Creative Cities and events such as this summit are so important — they help usunderstand that everything we do, from health to economy, has a truly global context.

Indeed, digitalization has been a major game changer and will certainly remain a key component of a “new normal”. Actually, many cities have normalized the use of smart city tools, especially to deliver municipal services.
